About Me
I'm a first-year engineering student at UBC Okanagan, and I'm really passionate about solving real-world problems with creative, practical solutions.
Background
Right now, I'm learning the fundamentals of engineering—things like design methods, sustainability, prototyping, and how to really analyze a problem. Through this program, I've gotten a lot better at working in teams, iterating on designs, and communicating ideas clearly. I'm super interested in environmental engineering and clean-tech, especially where innovation meets sustainability.
What motivates me is the idea of building systems that actually make people's lives better. Engineering gives me the tools to take those ideas and turn them into designs that have a real impact.
Professional Vision
Long-term, I want to work in sustainable infrastructure, clean water, or renewable energy—basically anything where engineering can improve community health. I'm really passionate about designing tech that tackles environmental challenges, especially when it comes to water systems and sustainable energy.
Personal Interests
Outside of school, I'm into fitness, skiing, and working on side business projects. I love exploring the outdoors and just figuring out how systems work, whether they're mechanical, organizational, or environmental. These interests definitely influence how I approach engineering—with discipline, creativity, and a focus on the long game.
